Say I got a couple of Nikon lens but it seems that everyone is using Canon.  Any comparisons between Nikon and Canon for video?

      Hi John!

I can only speak to what I have personally used myself. I’m a canon guy when it comes to cameras but all of my lenses are non-Canon. I have Tokina, Sigma, Rokinon lenses. For me, they work great and are easy on my wallet if you know what I mean ;)

I agree with Rudy, in using what you have/what you are comfortable with buying. The most important thing is practice. You won’t be able to notice the difference between brand A, B, and C in the final product.

I just checked, and what I have are a AF-S Nikkor 18-55 mm that came with the camera and a EX Sigma 10-20mm wide angle. (I used to shoot my own listing photos but eventually realized it was cheaper to pay someone to do it.)

Is there a possibility that I could use those lenses on a Canon? (I thought not.)
